Former President Donald Trump unleashed a series of criticisms against Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Friday, using his Truth Social platform to label her a “radical Marxist” and accuse her of leading the U.S. towards “failing nation” status.
Trump’s tirade followed Harris’s address at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where she focused on key issues including the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine, reproductive rights, and national challenges. Trump claimed that the Russia-Ukraine conflict would not have escalated under his presidency and blamed Harris for recent violence in Israel, asserting that she was responsible for the attack by Hamas on October 7th.
In his posts, Trump alleged that Harris had previously stated Iran was financially incapable of supporting Hezbollah and accused her of having anti-Israel sentiments. He also criticized Harris’s stance on immigration, alleging that she would prioritize spending on illegal immigrants.
