PM Modi Arrives in US for 3-Day Visit, Set to Meet Joe Biden and Quad Leaders

Philadelphia: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the United States for a three-day official visit. The visit will begin with a high-level bilateral meeting between PM Modi and US President Joe Biden. Discussions will focus on strengthening ties between the two nations, with potential agreements in defense, space collaboration, and trade.

A significant topic is India’s plan to acquire 31 Predator drones from the US, a deal expected to bolster India’s defense capabilities. Additionally, an announcement regarding India-US space cooperation may include details of Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s journey to the International Space Station as part of the Axiom-4 mission.

After the bilateral talks, PM Modi will participate in the Quad summit alongside President Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
