Nepal Floods: Death Toll Reaches 193, Rescue Operations Intensify
Kathmandu, Nepal — The death toll from the devastating floods and landslides triggered by continuous heavy rainfall in Nepal has risen to 193, as rescue operations across the country intensify. Authorities confirmed that at least 30 people remain missing, and 194 individuals have been injured.
Kathmandu, one of the hardest-hit cities, saw the loss of 34 lives due to the disaster. Although the southern parts of the city began returning to normal as floodwaters started receding, many areas still face severe challenges in recovery efforts.
Rescue teams have been working tirelessly to locate the missing and provide aid to the affected communities. The government has ramped up relief measures as the country battles one of its worst natural disasters in recent years.
