Headline: Zelenskyy Calls for Immediate Action as North Korean Troops Approach Ukraine

Body:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made an urgent appeal to international allies to stop “watching” and start “acting” as North Korean troops close in on Ukraine’s borders. With approximately 8,000 North Korean soldiers now positioned in Russia’s Kursk region, Zelenskyy has warned that these forces are preparing to join the fight against Ukraine. The Ukrainian president raised the possibility of preemptive strikes on training camps housing these troops, stressing that Kyiv is aware of their locations.

Zelenskyy expressed frustration over the delay in receiving permission from Western allies to use long-range weapons to target sites deep within Russia. “Instead of the necessary long-range capability, America is watching, Britain is watching, Germany is watching,” he said, emphasizing the urgency of action to prevent further escalation.

The Biden administration has confirmed the presence of North Korean soldiers near the Ukrainian border, describing the deployment as a major escalation with potential global implications. Western leaders have warned that this move could enhance North Korea’s missile and nuclear programs through technology exchanges with Russia.

As tensions rise, Zelenskyy continues to press for Western military support to counter this new threat, calling for action that matches the growing severity of the situation.
