Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake Meets PM Modi, Pledges to Strengthen Ties and Prevent Anti-India Activities
New Delhi, December 16 – Sri Lanka’s newly elected President, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his maiden overseas visit, signaling the significance he places on Indo-Sri Lankan relations.
During the high-level talks held in New Delhi, President Dissanayake assured India that Sri Lanka would not allow its territory to be used for any activities that could threaten India’s security.
