Delhi CM Atishi Warns Officers Against Disowning Government Schemes; Kejriwal Blames BJP for Fear-Mongering

New Delhi, December 25, 2024 – Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has issued a stern warning to government officers allegedly distancing themselves from the implementation of key government schemes. She assured strict action against those found guilty, emphasizing the importance of accountability in delivering public welfare initiatives.

Addressing the issue, AAP leader and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused the BJP of spreading fear among officers as a political tactic ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. “The BJP is terrified of the overwhelming public support for the AAP government’s schemes,” Kejriwal stated, adding that such efforts were aimed at sabotaging developmental projects.

The AAP government has launched several initiatives focusing on health, education, and public welfare, which have garnered significant praise but also faced criticism from opposition parties. CM Atishi reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to ensuring that these schemes reach the people of Delhi without hindrance.

Meanwhile, the BJP has denied the allegations, calling them baseless and accusing the AAP of politicizing governance to divert attention from administrative lapses.

With the elections drawing closer, the political atmosphere in Delhi remains charged, with both parties intensifying their campaigns and rhetoric.
