US Raises Irregular Immigration in First Bilateral Talks with Trump Administration, India Responds Positively
In their first bilateral talks with the Trump administration, the United States addressed concerns over irregular immigration. India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar emphasized the strong trust and alignment between the two nations, stating that India remains open to addressing the issue.
“We have a very strong degree of trust today between India and the United States, a very high level of convergence of our interests,” Jaishankar remarked, underlining the depth of the partnership.
