Patna, March 4 – Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sparked a political storm in the state assembly today by targeting RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav with a sharp remark: “I made your father.” The statement, aimed at former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, led to a heated exchange between the ruling JD(U)-BJP alliance and the opposition RJD.

During a debate in the assembly, Kumar lashed out at Tejashwi, recalling his past political alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav and claiming credit for his rise in Bihar politics. “Had I not supported him earlier, things would have been different today,” Kumar said, highlighting his role in shaping Bihar’s political landscape.

Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition, hit back at the Chief Minister, accusing him of repeatedly switching alliances for power. “You have changed sides so many times that the people of Bihar no longer trust you,” he retorted.

The exchange has intensified the ongoing political battle in Bihar, where alliances have been shifting frequently. The RJD and JD(U) have shared a complicated relationship, with Nitish Kumar switching between rival camps multiple times over the years.

Political analysts believe that Kumar’s statement is a strategic move ahead of the upcoming elections, aimed at undermining the RJD’s influence. Meanwhile, opposition parties have condemned the remark, calling it an insult to Bihar’s political legacy.

As the political heat rises in Bihar, this verbal battle is expected to further escalate in the coming days.
