ATTARI — A total of 537 Pakistani nationals have departed India through the Attari border crossing over the past four days, as the exit deadline officially came to a close.

The movement marks the culmination of an organized exit process, with authorities ensuring smooth and orderly transit for all individuals involved. Officials on both sides of the border coordinated closely to facilitate the departures without incident.

The exit comes against the backdrop of tightened visa regulations and diplomatic decisions requiring Pakistani citizens to return within a specified timeframe. “All arrangements were in place to manage the flow efficiently,” said a border official overseeing the process.

Families, many of whom had been living in India for extended periods, were seen crossing over amid emotional scenes at the border. Security was heightened throughout the area to maintain order and ensure the safety of the departing nationals.

With the deadline now concluded, authorities confirmed that the exit operation has been successfully completed.
