An Ottawa police officer has been removed from duty after the Canadian Armed Forces discovered his involvement with the extremist online group known as the Blue Hackle Mafia, which is accused of promoting antisemitic and homophobic views. The officer in question, whose identity has not been released due to privacy regulations, reportedly maintained active communication with group members, sharing content and participating in forums that espoused hatred toward Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities.
