PM Modi Criticizes AAP, Vows to Continue Welfare Schemes if BJP Wins Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Delhi, launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing its leadership of prioritizing personal luxuries over public welfare during the COVID-19 crisis.

“You will be pained to know that when people were fighting COVID, running around to get medicines and oxygen, their entire focus was on making Sheesh Mahal (a luxurious residence),” PM Modi said, referencing allegations of lavish spending by AAP leaders.

The Prime Minister assured Delhi residents that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is voted to power in the national capital, it will continue all existing welfare schemes and introduce more initiatives to benefit the common people.

This statement comes as political parties gear up for a high-stakes electoral battle in Delhi, with the BJP aiming to wrest control from the AAP. The BJP’s promise to prioritize development and welfare is expected to be a key focus in their campaign.
