New Delhi – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly refuted allegations by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was placed in place of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s portrait in government offices. Calling it “cheap politics” by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP accused AAP of spreading false narratives to mislead the public.

The controversy erupted after AAP leaders claimed that Ambedkar’s portraits were being removed and replaced with Modi’s photographs in official spaces. BJP leaders dismissed the charge as baseless, asserting that Dr. Ambedkar remains a revered figure and his contributions to the nation are respected by all.

“This is yet another desperate attempt by Arvind Kejriwal to divert attention from his government’s failures. The BJP has always honored Ambedkar’s legacy, and such misleading accusations are nothing but political theatrics,” a senior BJP leader stated.

AAP, however, has demanded an official clarification and urged the government to ensure that Ambedkar’s image continues to hold prominence in public institutions. Meanwhile, the political war of words continues, with both parties accusing each other of playing divisive politics.
