Union Home Minister Amit Shah has issued a strong statement following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, vowing to bring every perpetrator to justice. The attack, which targeted security personnel and disrupted the region’s fragile peace, has sparked nationwide condemnation.

Speaking to the media, Shah condemned the incident in the strongest terms and assured the nation that the government will respond with decisive action. “We will hunt down every perpetrator involved in this cowardly act. No one will be spared,” he declared.

Security forces have already launched a massive manhunt across the region, tightening surveillance and conducting combing operations in nearby areas. Initial reports suggest the involvement of Pakistan-backed terror outfits, though an official confirmation is awaited.

The Pahalgam region, known for its scenic beauty and as a base for the Amarnath Yatra, has seen a heavy security presence in recent months. This latest attack is being viewed as a direct challenge to ongoing efforts to stabilize the region and promote tourism.

As investigations continue, Shah reiterated the Centre’s commitment to eliminating terrorism from the Valley, stating that India’s resolve to protect its citizens remains stronger than ever. Further updates from the Ministry of Home Affairs are expected soon.
