Lucknow, March 14 – The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (UP ATS) has arrested an Indian man accused of sharing sensitive information with Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, after being honey-trapped by an agent using the alias ‘Neha’.

According to officials, the suspect was in contact with ‘Neha’ through social media, where he was manipulated into revealing classified details. The ATS had been monitoring his activities for some time before making the arrest.

Sources indicate that ISI operatives often use fake social media profiles to lure individuals into divulging crucial information related to national security. The authorities are now investigating the extent of the data breach and whether others were involved in the espionage network.

The arrest highlights the ongoing threat of cyber espionage and the need for vigilance against such tactics. Further inquiries are underway to determine the full scope of the operation.
