External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar delivered a strong message targeting Pakistan, accusing it of deep-rooted involvement in terrorism and issuing a firm rebuttal regarding Kashmir. Speaking at a public event, Jaishankar stated that the Pakistani state and its army are “up to their neck” in supporting terrorist activities, calling out the neighboring country for its long-standing role in destabilizing the region.

He emphasized that terrorism cannot be disguised under political narratives and made it clear that India will not tolerate cross-border terrorism in any form. “You cannot be a country that supports terrorism and expects to be treated like a normal state,” Jaishankar remarked.

Addressing remarks often made by Pakistan on Kashmir, the minister was unequivocal in asserting that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and any attempts to interfere will be strongly countered. He noted that the international community is increasingly recognizing the double standards often employed by Islamabad.

The statement comes amid renewed tensions and a growing global focus on counter-terrorism cooperation. Jaishankar’s remarks signal India’s intent to maintain a tough stance on terrorism while defending its sovereignty with clarity and conviction.
