In a strong and clear message, the Indian government has reiterated that there will be no dialogue with Pakistan until it completely renounces terrorism and vacates Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The statement comes amid renewed pressure for diplomatic engagement from various quarters, but India remains firm on its preconditions.

Government sources emphasized that talks and terror cannot go hand-in-hand. India has consistently maintained that the path to peace in the region lies through Pakistan taking concrete and irreversible steps to dismantle terrorist infrastructure operating from its soil.

The leadership in New Delhi also made it clear that PoK is an integral part of India and any future discussions will only take place after Pakistan withdraws from the illegally occupied region.

Defence and foreign affairs officials echoed the same sentiment, warning that any attempt to normalize relations without addressing core concerns would be futile. India continues to prioritize national security and sovereignty over symbolic gestures.

With no signs of a shift in Pakistan’s approach, the message from India is firm: dialogue is possible only when terror ends, and justice begins with the return of its rightful territory.
