Canadian authorities have launched a nationwide search for an Indian national accused of killing a woman in Ontario, in what investigators are describing as a “targeted and deliberate” act. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed that a Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued after the suspect allegedly fled the crime scene earlier this month.

According to police sources, the victim, a woman in her 30s, was found dead inside a private residence in the Greater Toronto Area. Preliminary findings suggest the attack was premeditated, though the motive remains unclear. Investigators have identified the suspect as an Indian citizen who had been residing in Canada on a temporary visa.

Authorities suspect the man may have left the country shortly after the incident, possibly using alternate travel routes to avoid detection. Canadian officials are now working with Interpol and Indian law enforcement agencies to confirm his location and pursue extradition if necessary.

“The investigation is active and ongoing. We are coordinating with multiple jurisdictions and international partners,” said an RCMP spokesperson. “Our priority is to bring the suspect into custody and deliver justice for the victim and her family.”

Police have also appealed to the public for information, urging anyone with knowledge of the suspect’s movements to come forward. The RCMP reiterated that protecting public safety remains a top priority as the manhunt continues across provincial and international borders.
