Sources said the invitation reflects Washington’s interest in involving India as a key international stakeholder, citing New Delhi’s growing global influence and its balanced relations across West Asia. While no official confirmation has been issued by either government, discussions are understood to be at a preliminary stage.
The proposed peace board is expected to focus on post-conflict stabilization, humanitarian access, and long-term political arrangements in Gaza.
